Unstructured Data Scout (UDS)

Any business is hugely dependent on documents. However research pinpoints that about 80% of all organisational data is ‘unstructured’. Important and sensitive files spread over the network of an organisation, being easy to create and amend they are also too flexible to manage. Over the time, this threat becomes an unavoidable cost of doing business.

Simply put, we conduct a census of all your files.

Our non-intrusive Scout surveys the network, gathering information about each file – its name, location, size, owner details, usage details, and so on. From this, we create a top sheet summary and 3D universe with powerful drill–down capability to interrogate each file and dependency.

With this, you are then able to create and enforce data policies: you can know which files, and therefore which business processes and employees, will be affected by making changes on a particular server; you can know how many versions of a document in various states of revision are underpinning decisions... You can know anything and everything about your files enabling you to make better decisions about your data.

Enterprise Scout (ES)

To achieve a better understanding of the situation in a fraction of the time, and control the cost of a project, MSR designed 'Enterprise Scout', the tool provides detailed drill-down reports of an enterprise’s resources giving the organisation freedom to customise priorities, and take a control over costs and resources.

Thus 'Enterprise Scout' helps in estimating project costs based on factual and empirical data of resources available in an organisation.
