MSR engages with its clients on a variety of offshore
models. These engagements vary in involvement and extent of commitment from
both the client and MSR. Choosing an Engagement model that best applies to a
client rests upon factors such as client requirements, investment and risk
engaging factors, strategic and operational nature of engagement.

Project Outsourcing based on MSR’s Industry-based domain expertise
This is the conventional model of outsourcing followed by majority of clients. This draws upon the advantages of:
- Project Methodology
- Cost reduction
- Availability of skilled resource pool
Dedicated Delivery Centres
At a higher level of commitment clients can choose to have a dedicated facility within MSR’s offshore centres. Such a facility is a replication of the Client’s development and/or production environment. This option brings in advantages of:
- An extension of Client’s in-house technical environment
- Follow-the-sun model for development and support activities
- Disaster recovery
- Cost and Process advantages
MSR is currently implementing this model for one of its UK based Clients – a leader in the media and entertainment industry.
BOT Projects
This is suitable for UK and US based Clients that want to establish
their own presence in India.
MSR offers a build operate transfer model as a low-risk entry strategy for its
Clients. A BOT model usually has a set-up and steady state period of a few
years followed by a transition period should the Client choose to exercise the
transfer option.
Joint Venture
As a third stage of growth, MSR sets
up joint venture engagements with product companies helping clients to grow in
their particular line of business.
